The Stitch In Time is a decades-old area business that was purchased by Danielle and Ben Peetz in April 2016. Originally doing embroidery only, the business has grown significantly with the addition of other forms of apparel and decoration. Now located in the former Fullenkamp Sports building in downtown Batesville, their expanded retail space at 19 E. George Street provides a local shopping experience for numerous products, including spiritwear for area schools. In 2019, they acquired the engraving business previously housed at this location, and those products and services are now a key part of the business with custom awards and personalized gift items of all types. The Stitch In Time works with a wide variety of vendors to provide access to a broad selection of product choices that can meet any customer’s needs. They are also a dealer for Tru-Spec uniforms and apparel, which is a duty-rated clothing line specially designed for fire, EMS, and law enforcement personnel, and they are proud to supply uniforms and duty wear to many of our area’s emergency responders.
